Hiring the Hall

Step 1
Decide if you want to hire the Main Hall, Pavilion or the Main Hall and Pavilion. To help you decide visit the Main Hall and Pavilion pages.
Step 2
Check that the venue is available when you want it. See Availability.
Step 3
Check the prices. See Hire Charges.
Step 4
If the date you require is less than four weeks or more than 6 months away then call the Bookings Secretary. Otherwise Make a Provisional Booking.
Step 5
Await a letter or Email letting you know that the provisional booking has been accepted and giving you details of what you need to do to turn the booking from provisional to confirmed. If you have not received this within 7 days then please contact the Bookings Secretary.
Step 6
Return the completed and signed Booking Application form together with the required deposit to the Bookings Secretary.
Step 7
Wait a few days and check that your booking is showing as confirmed on the Availability page.
Step 8
A few days before your booking you will be contacted
And given the access code enabling you to get the keys to your venue.
Do You Need a Licence?
The following licences are held:
Premises Licence, Public Performance Licence.
Performing Rights Society.
If you are hiring the Main Hall or Pavilion it is your responsibility to ensure that you have the appropriate licences.
If you wish to sell Alcohol.
You need to complete and return an application form available from the Bookings Secretary. You will be able to sell alcohol if MMHM Committee grants permission and you have paid the appropriate fee.
